About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and fun person to fulfil the duties as Supply Chain & Logistics Team Leader at our head quarters, based in Culburra Beach, NSW. This is a key management position in our business, and we are seeking a professional but fun candidate who can help meet business goals and challenges.
East Coast Canning purchased the first direct to can digital printer in Australia, removing the need for labelling of cans (and the >50 Tonnes of plastic waste per annum associated). This technology has never been available to the Australian can beverage industry (and is only 5 years old in the USA). It has removed the need for customers to commit to large numbers of stock, increasing the flexibility and creativity customer branding. This machine has opened up so many opportunities for the craft brewery and boutique beverage industry that we are very excited about and want you to be a part of.
This role is perfect for someone with a Supply Chain Background, or someone who is passionate at solving complex problems and can handle any piece of software put in front of them. All that said, we are happy to talk to anyone with a strong work ethic and passion. You would be working alongside and be supported by our Operations Manager, Production Team Leader, and Production Crew.
You will manage our in house transport fleet of trucks and vans, and our staff drivers that manage the delivery of over 90% of our cans.
Finally – we LOVE cover letters. Please write us a note to explain who you are, and why you want to be a part of the East Coast Canning family. Put an awesome application in and lets chat!
