Win an iBottleopener

We have iBottleopener iPhone cases to give away. We have road-tested these and they’re a pretty handy piece of kit. They snugly hold your iPhone without significantly increasing the size of the combined package. It is handyto have as few craft beers have twist tops and, while I have a bottle opener on my key ring, I rarely drive when there’s a chance of having a beer, so I don’t always have my keys – I do always have my phone though.

One tip for users though, if you use one of the adhesive clear screen guards, be very careful sliding the phone into the case and reconnecting the lower section as the hard case can lift your carefully fitted screen guard, once that’s done though all works as it should.

Even if my unscientific study would indicate Android phones seem to be the strong preference amongst the hard-core beer drinker, iPhones seem to be everywhere these days and I’m betting this competition will prove popular.

We have five to give away to five lucky readers. Simply email us with your name, state and email address and ‘Steve Jobs Drinks Beer’ in the subject line to: win_stuff@dev.brewsnews.com.au.

Entries close this Friday, 2nd September at 5pm. Winners announced by email and announced on Australian Brews News on Monday, 5th September. Note: Entry details will be provided to the distributors and may be used for marketing purposes.

Media Release

The iPhone is arguably the most functional and diverse electronics device in the world. Right when you thought they had done it all, another function is released.

This is the story of 2 guys who love a beer and have grown up with technology and who have combined them together by launching the Original iBottleopener into Australia. Sean O’Doherty and Tom White are two mates from Queensland who have formed the innovative distribution company Dot 1 Pty Ltd and have struck a deal to launch and distribute the iBottleopener, which was voted the Coolest Gadget for 2010 in the US.

Designed to suit iPhone 3, 4’s and even the new 5 format, the iBottleopener is a hard-shell slider case with a soft rubberised finish and a reinforced bottle opener built into the back. With an overwhelming response from numerous large brands and retail stores, expect to see your favourite footy team logos on the back of these for the 2012 season.

With recommended retail prices of $29.95 for the 3 series case and $34.95 for the 4/5 series case, the iBottleopener will be the must have item for the beach, barbeque or any beer time this Australian summer.
