WABA releases conference program
The Western Australian Brewers Association has released the program for its upcoming WA Beer & Brewing Conference.
The annual conference, presented in partnership with Bintani and Cryer Malt, will be held in Perth next Friday, featuring technical brewing workshops, sales and market insights, panel discussions about scaling up, starting out and more.
The day will also include a trade expo, giving attendees the opportunity to build strong relationships with local, national and international suppliers to the brewing industry.
The program opens with a Welcome to Country by Ingrid Cumming, a Whadjuk Balardong Noongar woman recognised as a young leader within the First Nations community.
The conference will include an overview of the WA State Craft Beer Strategy and varied panel discussions including discussions on how to turn venue staff into brand ambassadors, a deep dive into the manufacturing costs of beer and limited-release fatigue.
Brews News’ Sabrina Kunz will be chairing a discussion looking at Artificial Intelligence and what it means for the brewing industry.
Tickets are still available and cost $95 for WA Brewers Association paid-up members or $110 for non-members, plus a booking fee.
