Sydney Beer Week 2018 is coming

Sydney’s largest celebration of beer returns for 2018. SBW18 will run from 26th October to 4th November. The world-class celebration of beer will unite over 7000 beer lovers for a festival of food, beer, entertainment and culture across greater Sydney.

With the inaugural year organising the festival under their belt, the SBW team were thrilled with the success of SBW17 that saw over 7000 registered attendees across 136 events.

Featured events of SBW18 will include the SBW Opening Gala returning to The Sydney Maritime Museum, The Sydney Beer Awards and the hot-ticketed Hair of the dog breakfast where guests will indulge in a beer and food matching menu to round out the festival.

Festival events will be arranged into five streams – Food, Education, Activities, Showcase and Industry. Liam Pereira, Sydney Beer Week General Manager, is aiming to raise the profile of SBW in 2018 “as the local beer community continues to grow, we are looking to improve on previous SBW activations as well as develop new and exciting events that appeal to a range of beers fans including the beer styles they love and those they are ready to explore”.

Official registrations for venues open are opening soon and we encourage all licensed pubs, bars, clubs, breweries, brasseries, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and live music venues to register and be part of the largest celebration of beer in Sydney.
