Starward is awarded an unprecedented 12 perfectly scored double gold medals in the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition

Australian whisky distillery,Starward Whisky, has taken home 12 Double Gold and 3 Gold medals at the2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition(SFWSC). This is the largest haul of perfectly scored gold medals taken home by one distillery, across the 2022 competition.

We are delighted to have won top gold medals for 15 of our incredible whiskies ranging from our core product range (such as Two-Fold, Nova, Fortis), Project range (Ginger Beer Cask #6, Octave Barrels and Tawny #2) as well as our Single Barrel releases.(See bottom of release for the full breakdown of awards).

A SFWSC medal is a universally recognised indicator of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. Double Gold medals are awarded to the entries that receive a Gold medal rating byallmembers of the judging panel; these are among the finest products in the world as stated by the SFWSC, and Starward is proud to have been awardedtwelveof these,alongside three additional gold medals.
