In 2020, Perth is set to welcome the iconic Pirate Life Brewery to its state, in conjunction with one of Western Australia’s most awarded hospitality groups: Sneakers & Jeans.

Located in Perth’s CBD at the old Sony building, the new venue will be able to accommodate over one thousand patrons and is just a stone’s throw away from Perth Arena, Yagan Square and a multitude of hotels.

The upcoming Pirate Life Perth venue will be spread over three floors, holding an in-house brewery, private dining room, hybrid rooftop beer garden, restaurant, with three bars and an open plan kitchen.

Dubai’s Stickman Tribe, founded by Perth born Marcos Cain, will be designing the venue in collaboration with Pirate Life and Sneakers & Jeans to deliver a new standard in hospitality venues for Perth.

The Pirate Life founders were originally from Perth, however, took the project to Adelaide five years ago, and have since grown the brand into a national phenomenon.

Pirate Life co-founder, Jared Proudfoot, known as Red, said, “Almost five years since we moved to Adelaide to set up Pirate Life, its bloody exciting to have this opportunity to spend some time back in WA and set up a shiny new brewpub with Andy and his team. We will be brewing beers exclusive to the venue and continually be challenging our brewers to pump out regular one-off brews pushing the boundaries of what beer can be.”

“There is a lot of synergies between Pirate Life and Sneakers & Jeans, so we are excited to be bringing a new bold concept to the market. Carlton & United Breweries introduced me to Red, Jack and his father, MC back in 2018 and we hit it off. The conversation about bringing the Pirate Life experience to Perth has been running hot for twelve months and we are now ready to reveal it. Perth and Australia have never seen anything like this; I’m pumped,” said Andy Freeman.

Construction of the venue is set to start and to open in 2020.
