‘People Moves’ compiles recent job appointments, promotions and departures within the brewing industry across Australia and New Zealand.

Lewis Kerr & Reid Stratton | Bright Brewery 

At the end of 2022, Bright Brewery’s former head brewer Reid Stratton announced his departure from the business. He is yet to advise his next career move. Lewis Kerr, who previously worked with Bridge Road Brewers, Moon Dog Craft Brewery and Whistler Brewing Co in Canada, joined the brewery in the role.

Rob Wood | Co-Conspirators Brewing Co.

Rob Wood has joined Co-Conspirators Brewing Co. as its new sales representative. His prior experience has been within sales and hospitality industries. 

Heath Baker | Tribe Breweries

Heath Baker has started a new position as general manager at Tribe Breweries’ Tribe Partner Brewing. Baker’s previous experience includes international sales manager and head of international alcohol at Coca-Cola Europacific Partners.

Multiple promotions and appointments | Mountain Culture Beer Co.

Mountain Culture Beer Co. has recently announced internal staff changes including multiple promotions and new hires. 

Alex Boyall has been promoted to the newly created position of head of operations while Jess Gibson has moved to head of marketing. Pat Thiering will act as E-Commerce director, strengthening the company’s e-commerce arm. 

Meanwhile, new hires include Jacinta Summerville as HR manager, and Alex Wheeler as business development manager.
