Stone & Wood and 4 Pines have both released new small batch beers in recent weeks.

The second iteration of Stone & Wood Smoky Jasper Ale is now on tap at venues across the country.

This year’s version has a richer and thicker smoky character than before, Stone & Wood says, with a grain bill that comprises 50 per cent beechwood smoke barley malt.

Meanwhile, 4 Pines has released the Oaked Baltic Porter in bottles, as the latest in its small batch Keller Door series.

“Smooth and warming with a rich, sweet body, this blend has been partially aged in French Oak whisky barrels for six months to give it a unique complexity of light vanilla and earthy minerals,” 4 Pines says.

With an RRP of $9, the Oaked Baltic Porter comes in at 7.5 per cent ABV and 37 IBU.
