Imperial Pineapple Sour, Hope Brewery

Hope Brewery is brewing a taste of the tropics this winter with their Imperial strength Berliner Weisse with a pineapple twist.

Using Mosaic hops , the beer will be featured at the Hunter Valley Beer & BBQ Festival on 3-4th August at Hope Estate, two hours north of Sydney.

The Hope Estate Cellar Door is open seven days, visit local independent bottle shops or check out the website to order Hope’s Imperial Pineapple Sour new brew.

Good Wicket XPA,Hawthorn Brewing Co

Hawthorn Brewing Co has released a new light and bright XPA to its current range, layeringtropical fruit and citrus flavours.

Hawthorn says it boasts a full hop forward flavour with 9 grams per litre of dry hop used.

Created in collaboration with Beer Deluxe, Good Wicket has 5.0% abv andis available now in 375 ml cans.

Lock, Stock & Dubbel Barrels, Two Birds Brewing

Victoria’s Two Birds Brewing has launched a limited release Barrel Aged Belgian Dubbel.

Stored away in former wine barrels the sweet, oaky brew comes in at 8.5% abv.

Coming in 500ml bottles, the Dark Dubbelis available to purchase now for limited time only.

Resonate, BentSpoke Brewing

Canberra born SAFIA and BentSpoke Brewing have joined forces to create Resonate.

This Pale Ale was brewed to a 24-hour custom soundtrack by SAFIA, aiming to change the way the yeast behaves and create a unique flavour profile.

The release will be extremely limited, available for sale Friday, August 9th at 12am via online retailer Boozebud, or directly from BentSpoke’s Braddon brewpub.

The Island NEIPA, Sauce Brewing Co

Sauce Brewing Co has collaborated with Bar Pop to create its Island NEIPA.

Using Sabro hops the IPA throws off a powerful tropical fruity flavour according to Sauce.

It will be available at the Perth Craft Beer Festival (16-18 August), as well as in500ml tinnies exclusively in Western Australia.

Eastern states will get a sneak peek of neipa at the brewery on IPA Day, Thursday 1 August.

Paddock to Pale, Wayward Brewing

Paddock to Pale is this month’s limited release from Wayward Brewing.

This hybrid farmhouse Pale Ale utilises an Irish Ale with French Saison hybrid yeast.

NZ Moutere hops provide aromatics of citrus and peach with a clean, balanced finish, according to Wayward.

Headliner Double IPA, Otherside Brewing Co

Headliner is the first of Otherside Brewing Co’s seasonal brews to be released and kicks off the brewer’s Creative Release, which looks for artists to be involved in the design of cans for Otherside’s seasonal beers.

Headliner features artwork by Maylands-based artist William Kitely. Kitely said that the Perth Hills landscape inspired the design, and was meant to reflect the hoppy and ‘complex’ Headliner Double IPA.

“The pine, citrus, and the hops in this IIPA reminded me of the lull of Summer – as those sea breezes slowly roll up towards the Perth Hills releasing the pollen of Darlington’s old pine trees far and wide,” he said.

XPA, Jetty Road Brewery

Jetty Road has released the Jetty Road XPA, the brainchild of head brewer Blake Bowden and a halfway point between the Jetty Road Pale Ale and IPA.

Jetty Road said the 5.2% abv brew is full of “bursting orange and mandarin citrus flavours, balanced with a firm dry piney bitterness”.

Jetty Road beers are available on tap and in cans at more than 200 outlets across Australia.
