Gold Coast Bitter, Lost Palms Brewing Co
The Lost Palms team have launched a new Lager, a Gold Coast Bitter.
Lost Palms Brewery owner Jarrod Blanning said inspiration for the new Gold Coast Bitter camefrom a popular Gold Coast hot spot.
“I just thought about a Sunday afternoon on Burleigh Hill, watching the sunset with a few mates, washing away the weekend,” Blanning said.
Gold Coast Bitter has been brewed ‘health consciously’, according to Lost Palms, and is low in carbs and gluten.
The 4.5 % abv brew is made of all-Australian ingredients, with malt sourced from regional Queensland and NSW, hops from Victoria and Aussie-cultivated and produced Lager yeast.
Currently Gold Coast Bitter is only being distributed in local bars and bottle shops.
Brew Tang Cans, Two Birds Brewing
Two Birds Brewing have a new limited released series – Brew Tang Cans.
The first brew, Chew Tang Can, is a 6% abv NEIPA that is cloudy, fruity and heavy on the hops.
Sundaze Sippah is a 5% abv summer ale including Mosaic and Simcoe hops.
Last but not least, Fruit Tang Clan is a 3.8% abv tropical sour with guava, mango and passionfruit.
The release is flying out to select stockists this week and is available now to purchase via the Two Birds Brewing website.
Hot 91 Strawberry Sour ,Glass House Brewery
Glass House Brewery have released a new Strawberry Sour.
The 4.0% abv brew will be available in 375 ml cans at the glass house brewery 13th September, from 3pm.
Funds raised from the brews will go to supporting young Australian veterans transitioning into civilian life.
The Strawberry Sour cans feature names of the veterans along with information on their service, and the berries used in the brews are sourced from local strawberry fields.
Mayday Hills Lime + Cucumber Gose, Bridge Road Brewers
The latest release from the Mayday Hills range has dropped, Lime + Cucumber Gose.
Bridge Road says theLime + Cucumber Gose, is a light- bodied farmhouse ale with a high mineral content and a gentle tartness.
The 4.1% abv brew will be available at all indie beer retailers around the country, with a full stockist list available soon.
Frequin Good Beer, Willie Smiths & AKASHA
Akasha Brewing Co and Willie Smith’s Cider Makers have launched a collaboration brew, Frequin Good IPA.
The 6.8% IPA is brewed using Mosaic hops and twenty percent Frequin Rouge apple juice from Willie Smith’s Tasmanian orchards.
Willie Smith’s say it is a truly unique concoction, the result is a dry, crisp, beer-cider hybrid with notes of grapefruit and citrus, accompanied by bittersweet, high tannin levels.
The brew is launching today at the Royal Albert and will be on tap at selected venues.
Apricot Wheat, Sea Legs Brewing Co
Sea Legs Brewing have dropped their latest release, Apricot Wheat.
This American Wheat Ale is brewed using a large wheat bill and 200kgs of apricots.
It has subtle aromas of stone fruit and bread sweetness, Sea Legs say it’s reminiscent of apricot and jam toast.
This 5.4 % abv brew is available now on tap at Sea Legs Brewing in Brisbane.
Bintani IPA, Ballistic Beer & Bintani
Ballistic Beer have teamed up with Bintani Australia for this collaboration brew.
The release will again be raising money for the Buy A Bale foundation, to help support the farmers who are struggling through the drought.
Ballistic say they believe in supporting all people which help contribute to our community even those who we may never meet.
The 6.1 % abv brew is now available in cans and on tap.
The Beginning (Coolship Collection) La Sirène Brewing
The Beginning is a oak-aged wild ale from the Coolship collection, by La SirèneBrewing.
La Sirène say it has been a long time in the making and they cannot wait to share it with everyone.
A celebration launch is being held at Paradise Alley on Sunday the 15th of September, from 2-4pm to celebrate.
There will be free tastings of The Beginning paired with snacks from Latin American street food vendor Little Latin Lucy.
Side Track XPA, Gage Roads Brewing Co
Gage Roads Brewing Co have released a brand new all-day XPA, Side Track.
Side Track is rated at 24 IBU with 3.5% abv and a light malt base.
This brew has zesty citrus and tropical fruit aromas over a smooth, malty backbone said Gage.
The beer is available on tap and at select stockists.
