St Helens Lager and The Scamander Pale Ale | Moo Brew and Luca Brasi

Moo Brew and rock band Luca Brasi are releasing two collaboration beers, exclusively for the upcoming Til the Wheels Fall Off festival.

St Helens Lager and The Scamander Pale Ale were brewed to celebrate the East Coast of Tasmania.

The cans will feature original artwork by local artist Josh Pringle.

They will be available to guests at the Launceston Workers Club from Friday November 1st through to Sunday November 3rd.

VHA | Gage Roads Brewing Co

Gage Roads Brewing Co have a new limited release ale, VHA, a triple-gold medal winning ‘Very Hoppy Ale’.

The brew is double dry hopped with Galaxy, Mosaic and Azzaca hops.GR VHA 500ml Can

Gage Road says to expect tropical fruit flavours and bitterness from the the grounded heritage barley malt.

Head brewer Ross Brown says VHA is no ordinary pale ale, having already won gold at the AIBAs, Sydney Royal Beer and Cider Show, and the Perth Royal Beer Awards.

“The double dry hop packs so much flavour into the beer. It’s super smooth and drinks really well,” he said.

“VHA showcases my favourite hops at the moment in Azacca, Galaxy and Mosaic. That trio comes together to create big tropical fruit bowl aromas.

“There’s plenty of passionfruit, mango and guava. There’s a touch of spice and the heritage malt variety we used adds richness and integrates the hop characters on the palette.”

It is available in 500ml cans and kegs at independent bottle shops now.

Space Milk Volume 5 | Bodriggy Brewing Co

Victoria’s Bodriggy Brewing Co has released its Space Milk Volume 5 brew, a cherry Cola and lemon lactose sour.

The clean kettle sour was macerated with 800kg of sour cherries, which was then passed through its hopback which was full of sliced lemons, oranges and limes, and 3 kilogrammes of black cherry tea and homemade cola spice.

The spice was made of lavender, coriander seed, star anise, vanilla pods and cinnamon sticks.

More lemons and cola spice were added in the fermentation tank, said Bodriggy.

The 3% abv brew will be available from 8th November in four packs from the Bodriggy venue only, priced at $20 per pack.

In addition to its latest rendition of Space Milk, Bodriggy has launched a Double New England IPA Cloudtown.

The NEIPA is brewed with Norwegian kviek farmhouse yeast, with notes of cantaloupe, watermelon, pineapple and strawberries, according to Bodriggy.

The 8% abv brew is made with Simcoe, Mosaic and Cashmere hops, and is available only at its Abbotsford venue.

The third new release is a West Coast IPA, the Auto LP, named for the gas-conversion business which stood on Bodriggy’s venue before it opened earlier this year.

Simcoe, El Dorado and Galaxy hops provide passionfruit, mango and orange notes, according to the brewery.

The 5.8% abv brew is available now at the venue.

Chew Tang Can Kegs and Feel the Burn Ginger Beer | Two Birds Brewing

Victoria’s Two Birds Brewing has launched its Chew Tang Can in kegs due to popular demand.

The 6% abv NEIPA is brewed with Esquanot, Citra, Amarillo and Mosaic hops.

It’s available at select stockists in Victoria, including the Two Birds Nest, as well as NSW, Queensland, and Western Australia.

The team have also invested in a keg-only 5.2% abv ginger beer, Feel the Burn.

It’s brewed with fresh ginger but has hints of lemon and sweet malts, according to Two Birds.

It’s pouring at four venues in Victoria, at the Freo BeerFest Paddle Bar in Western Australia, as well as The Taphouse in NSW and Lolas Pergola in the Northern Territory.

Hawaiian Haze | Ballistic Beer Co

Ballistic Beer Co has launched a Hazy “with a bit more shelf life” in comparison to its Sleep When You’re Dead Hazy IPA.

The Hawaiian Haze is double dry hopped, coming in at 30 IBUs, and brewed using El Dorado, Rakau, Pacifica and Mosaic hops.

The 4.8% abv beverage was made available in selected venues and bottleshops from 31st October, including Ballistic’s Westend and Salisbury venues.
