The generosity of Australia’s brewing and beer appreciating community has been overwhelming over the past weeks to assist flood victims. Now BeerMasons is giving Australians an extra incentive to dig deep.

The specialty beer club is giving people who donate to the Queensland Premier’s Flood Relief Appeal the chance to win 100 bottles of their finest beers.

To enter, all you need to do is make an online, tax deductible donation DIRECTLY to the Queensland Premiers Flood Appeal, making sure you tick the box to request an emailed receipt, then forward your email receipt to: floods@beermasons.com.

BeerMasons Renee Mathie said, like everyone else, they were overwhelmed by the events of the past fortnight.

“The scale of devastation in Queensland is hard to fathom. All you can do in response is figure out the best ways that you can help in the recovery and then do it,” she said.

“Our Beer Relief competition hopefully gives beer lovers an extra incentive to give and if they already have, to give again.

“It’s such a sad time but fundraising should be fun! We’ve had a great time putting together this pack and we hope that people will spread the word and get lots of friends to dig deep. Whoever the lucky, generous soul that wins this pack is going to be able to throw one hell of a party!

“Instead of an auction or raffle we are encouraging people to donate what ever they can, directly to the Qld Premier’s Appeal. This means cutting out any middle men and donors can be confident the money is going to exactly the right place. The Premier’s office is absorbing the cost of running and implementing this fund, so 100% of donations goes directly to the people who need it.”
