Join the countdown party
What is Australia’s hottest beer? We will find out tomorrow as the nation joins together to celebrate all things Australia. Many craft beer focused bars, pubs and venues across the country will hold special events coinciding with the countdown of The Local Taphouse Hottest 100 Aussie Craft Beers poll.
The Top 100 beers, as voted by you, will be revealed in reverse order via Australian Brews News and The Crafty Pint, as well as at a number of Aussie beer bars and breweries.
The participating venues will also be pouring many of the top ranking beers as they count down the list.
Some venues will even offer a Hottest 100 double, as they also play the Triple J Hottest 100 music countdown.
The live countdown starts at 12:30pm AEDST (12pm Adelaide, 11:30am Brisbane, 9:30am Perth), with numbers 100 to 91 released at 12:35pm, thenbeers revealed in batches of 10 every 20 minutes.
From 3:30pm, the prized top ten will be revealed one at a time, from 10 to 1, every 10 minutes.The Hottest Aussie craft beer of 2013 will be announced around 5:00pm AEDST.
