HopDog BeerWorks listed for sale
A South Coast NSW business broker has listed Nowra-based brewery, HopDog BeerWorks for sale.
Founded in 2011 by Tim and Tess Thomas, HopDog won a devoted fanbase of beer enthusiasts with its offbeat range of hop forward and experimental beers.
South Coast Business Brokers recently listed the brewery for sale on a ‘walk in walk out’ basis, with a price tag of $320,000.
“HopDog is an 800L craft brewery located on the South Coast of NSW. This amazingly successful business has been in family operation since 2011 and already has an impressive national support of its beers in pubs and clubs throughout NSW, QLD and the ACT with the potential to further expand,” the advertisement says.
“Included in the sale of this business is all you could possibly need to come in and start brewing your own beers like you have dreamed.”
HopDog co-founder Tim Thomas told Brews News that he was looking for a change after 17 years in the brewing industry.
He said he is now in his 40s and has a young family, and has recently opened a new restaurant in Nowra, The Dog & Monocle.
The sale includes HopDog’s complete brewing plant and equipment, tasting bar and associated assets.
