GABS Sydney destined for sell-out
The Great Australasian Beer SpecTAPular (GABS) is just days away from making its debut in Sydney after smashing all records in Melbourne last weekend.
Co-founders of the event Steve Jeffares and Guy Greenstone, say every session in Melbourne broke previous records, with more than 16,000 people attending over the three days.
“We’re so excited to take this event, with all the bells and whistles, to Sydney for the first time” Jeffares said.
“We strongly advise people to prebook ASAP as both sessions could sell out,” he told Australian Brews News.
GABS Sydney will be showcasing 300 beers, including the creative beers brewed especially for the event.
Local Sydney restaurants including Three Blue Ducks, Cornersmith, Veggie Patch, Mary’s and LP Meats will be there along withlocal breweries includingMurray’s, Rocks, Doctor’s Orders, Modus Operandi, Nomad, Thirsty Crow, Riverside, 4 Pines and Young Henry’s.
“There is a demonstration kitchen, a beer ‘college’ and theentertainment is better than ever before with mind blowing circus performances, roving musicians, tap dancers and table tennis tournaments,” Jeffares said.
