Fixation IPA featured at Brisbane's 'Book' Club
Tom Delmont is the next beer author to present his works to regularBrisbane beer tasting club, The ‘Book’ Club tomorrow night.
The monthly meeting of Brisbane beer drinkers is hosted by Brews News founder Matt Kirkegaard and invites brewers and brewery owners to present a selection of their own beers, as well as the beers that have inspired and influenced their careers in beer.
Tom Delmont may not yet be a household name in Brisbane but he isa man who loves beer – and loves well made, hoppy IPAs most of all. Luckily for him, he is the face of a brewing company dedicated to brewing nothing other than IPAs. He launched Fixation Brewing Co with the team behind Stone & Wood, Australia’s most successful modern microbrewery, in 2015 with an aim to redefine what IPA means to Australia’s beer lovers. The company has shown a fanatical passion for quality IPA, already collecting a gold medal at Australia’s biggest beer competition for its flagship beer, and its approach is distinct with its commitment to brewing only IPA, cold chain logistics, beer quality and freshness.
As with all Book Clubs, Tom will be coming to talk about his beers, but will also be sharing the story of his beer journey by bringing a selection of beers that have inspired and influenced him during his career. Meet the man and the beers that created him.
Light nibbles of cheese and charcuterie are included.
