Craft Beer Awards back for 2015
Following their hugely successful inaugural year in 2014, the Craft Beer Awards return in 2015. The Craft Beer Awards celebrate the very best of craft beer in Australia: the people, the ingredients, the processes and of course, the beer.
The Craft Beer Industry Association (CBIA) is the national body representing the craft beer industry and in 2014 began the Craft Beer Awards to encourage and support excellence in the industry. The competition, held during Sydney Craft Beer Week, is open to all Australian breweries and brewing companies eligible for CBIA Membership (an Australian brewer producing less than 40 million litres per annum.)
The Craft Beer Awards are an invaluable platform to showcase the continual improvement of Australian craft beer and provide a unique chance for brewers to benchmark themselves against the best in the business.
Last year newcomers to the scene Modus Operandi won the coveted Kegstar Champion Australian Craft Beer award with their beer Former Tenant. Jasmin Wearin of Modus Operandi, says, “TheCraft Beer Awards truly reflect the needs and progressive nature of our craft beer industry and is unquestionably the night of nights on the craft beer calendar minus the gold Logies and fake tans!”

In 2015 the Craft Beer Awards will accept entries in both draught and packaged formats. Competition entry and style guidelines can be found on theCraft Beer Awardspage of the CBIA website.
