Leading independent craft brewer CBCo Brewing, is out to recruit more Australian drinkers with a new advertising campaign “for Australian tastes”.
Aiming to build brand awareness in Victoria and Western Australia, CBCo Brewing’s new ‘For Australian Tastes’ campaign celebrates the company’s uniquely Australian range of craft beers.
The campaign’s design draws inspiration from each of the two state’s iconic skylines – from the orange hued sunsets of WA’s South West, to the pink touched skies of metropolitan Melbourne.
CBCo Brewing Managing Director Lawrence Dowd says, “We have been brewing beer since 2004 and during that time have developed a range that caters to the diverse and ever-changing tastes of Australian drinkers, suited to our weather, our celebrations, our quirks, our habits and our unique take on things.”
“Like our beers,” Dowd adds, “our campaign has been developed for local audiences and local tastes. We have taken inspiration from our own backyard, from our environments and surrounds – the backdrop to our favourite beer drinking occasions”.
The integrated campaign will be showcased in both states across outdoor advertising, with digital and social support. It will be further amplified through CBCo’s prized sporting partnerships; Melbourne United, Perth Wildcats, Cricket Victoria, Melbourne Stars, Melbourne Renegades, North Melbourne Football Club, Australian PGA Championship, PGA Tour of Australasia and Noosa Triathlon.
The new campaign follows the completion of a $12M expansion to CBCo’s Port Melbourne brewery, increasing total brewing capacity to more than nine million litres per year. It also represents re-focus on home state growth for the brewer and is the first major ad campaign since the company changed its name earlier this year.
