Brisbane Beer Fest on the Grass - April 18
Brisbane’s Beer Fest on the Grass at Eatons Hill Hotel with special guest, Sam Kekovich! Saturday 18 April from 11am
Brisbane’s Beer Fest on the Grass at the Eatons Hill Hotel is now Queensland’s largest Beer Fest and it’s on again!
The inaugural festival was held last year and was attended by thousands of passionate beer lovers wanting to experience the ultimate day of beer. The festival included beer and live entertainment and crowds demanded the Beer Fest be an annual event.
So Brisbane’s Beer Fest is back and in 2015 the festival has expanded to showcase over 35 Breweries and over 130 different Beers and Ciders. The response has been outstanding and with a boutique Brewery list including Green Beacon, 4 Pines, Stone & Wood, Holgate, Fortitude, Mountain Goat as well as the favourites, the event is must attend!
Grab your Beer tasting paddle and join the celebration of Beer and try your favourites or perhaps challenge your taste buds and sample something a bit different. Have you ever tasted these delights?
- Lamington Dark Ale – Flavours of a light sponge cake coated in chocolate and toasted coconut. Liquid Lamington served chilled…
- WeisBeer – think your favourite Raspberry or Vanilla Weis Bar ice cream and covert these tastes into Beer…
- Snickers Amber Ale – Chocolate, Peanut and Caramel flavours capturing the aroma and flavour of a Snickers bar served as an amber ale…
- Smokin’ Mountie – An international flair Canadian Breakfast Beer. Try this rich amber ale with an aroma and flavour of smoky bacon and maple syrup…
This year the event has an ambassador and who better to showcase Beer than the ever popular Sam Kekovich. Sam is a now a flamboyant Australian personality after his successful AFL career and is now a proud advocate of Brisbane’s Beer Fest. Sam is the master of ceremonies for 2015 and be sure to be entertained over a beer or three.
Other entertainment includes live music, DJ’s and an international food court. Entry to the Beer Fest is a gold coin and all proceeds will be donated to the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Gates open at 11am and like any good Beer Festival, it’s open till late. Brisbane’s Beer Fest is an 18+ event.
