Bright Football Club announces major sponsor

Bright Brewery becomes major sponsor of local football club

Bright Brewery has been announced as a major sponsor of the Bright Football Club. The iconic partnership highlights the importance of sport in the local community, and strengthens the already strong links between regional sport and Bright Brewery.

The sponsorship was confirmed in a meeting between Bright Brewery, Brendan Cudmore from the Bright Football Club and President Ian Nicholls. “It’s fantastic for the community that a local and iconic brand like Bright Brewery throws their support behind the football club” said Brendan Cudmore.

Mr Nicholls continued “The relationship between the Bright Brewery and the Football Club will continue to highlight the importance of both organisations to the community, and will ensure the club is on track to win their first senior premiership in the Ovens and King Football League since 2004.”

“Sponsorship is integral to the survival of regional sporting clubs, and the generosity of the Bright Brewery will ensure a bright future for the football club” added Ian.

Owner of the Bright Brewery, Scott Brandon, said “We love the opportunity to give back to the local community and to be aligned with active participation in the region, so this partnership with the football club seemed a perfect fit.” Scott added “The players work so incredibly hard during the season, it’s important they are able to relax after a game, and enjoy a beer brewed just down the road at the Bright Brewery!”

The football club will run out for their next game of the season this weekend against Whorouly. “We wish them all the best for the start of the new season” added Scott. “We hope the thought of one of our beers after the game gives them a bit of extra motivation to start the season off with a few big wins!”
