Black Hops II
Beer, made by 3 mates on the Gold Coast.Black Hops Brewing started as 3 mates making beer and sharing everything they learned along the way. In 2014, Dan, Eddie and Govs made their first beer, the Eggnog Stout, after discussing the concept at the pub.
That led them to opening up a brewery and taproom in Burleigh Heads in 2016, and being awarded Australia’s Champion Small Brewer at the 2018 AIBA Awards. Black Hops launched its upscale production brewery in Biggera Waters in March 2019.
These days Black Hops is one of Australia’s highest rated and fastest growing breweries, with a team of 21 full time staff we make and distribute beer to 1000+ venues around Australia.

Stone & Wood Brisbane
A little piece of the coast in the citySet inside the beautifully preserved heritage-listed building on Bridge Street that once held Trails Ice, our new brewery brings a bit of the coast to the city – weaving the laidback feel of Byron Bay into the Valley’s historic streets.
In the new space, you’ll find a classic Stone & Wood interior, merch outlet and a working brewery, plus a space for community events and training workshops for our trade partners.
With our 8-hectolitre brewhouse and five fermenters, Mick our resident brewer produces innovative, one-off experimental Pilot Batch brews that we release every Thursday. You can enjoy these in our brewery on tap or fill a 1L Sharer bottle to take home.
Pouring from our 24 taps is the entire Stone & Wood core range, our limited releases – including our Counter Culture releases – and our one-off Pilot Batch brews, exclusive to Brisbane.
Stone & Wood Byron Bay
The heartbeat of Stone & WoodInspired by the idea of the ‘village brewery’, we strive to operate as a conscious business and give back to our local community.
Our Tasting Room and brewery in Byron Bay – what we call our ‘spiritual home’ – is located in the heart of the Arts & Industry Estate, housing 31 brewing tanks, a canteen run by the local legends at 100 Mile Table and a spacious beer garden.
Stone & Wood Murwillumbah
Our big brew houseOpened in 2014 and looking out to nearby Wollumbin (Mt Warning), our Murwillumbah brewery – 45 minutes north of our brewery in Byron Bay – is where we produce most of our beer.
This second brewery, established when we were still brewing out of our former Byron brewery in Boronia Place, enabled us to meet the demand of our drinkers across the country.
