Bintani Festival Beers is back
Victoria-based ingredients supplier Bintani Australia will again sponsor Bintani Festival Beers as part of the Abbotsford Convent Brewers Feast Festival in February.
Brewers Feast was founded by Tyson McGeoch to showcase Australian craft beer, food and aspiring musicians at one of Melbourne’s most memorable locations.
The festival will feature more than 20 breweries along and more than 80 beers. Bintani adds 14 festival beers, all brewed exclusively for the festival by local craft breweries.
Under the partnership Bintani provides participating brewers with a selection of raw materials, as well as brewing and technical advice to assist them in brewing an entirely new beer with a brand new name.
Phil Meddings, Director of Finance and Sales at Bintani said that partnering with consumer-facing events such as Brewers Feast is important to support and promote the craft beer industry.
“We see our role as partnering with brewers and working with them in the brewery and also at events, supporting the brewer to make great beers for consumers,” Meddings said.
“The industry is about sharing great beer in a fun environment and festivals are fun.”
Meddings told Brews News that Bintani Festival Beers works “really well” for the company.
“Brewers are looking to experiment and with a unique range of products Bintani can be part of the experimentation.”
