Antarctic Ale now on eBay

I’m not sure whether I buy into the whole “Most expensive beer in the world” claim of Nail Brewing’s Antarctic Ale…I don’t know that you can compare retail prices with one-off charity auctions and it is impossible to track the prices of other beers sold in this way. But there is no doubt that that there has been tremendous support for John Stallwood’s project in aid of The Sea Shepherd.

If you’re interested in how a beer that’s made from an Antarctic iceberg tastes, you now have your own chance to buy a bottle of Antarctic Ale on eBay.

The auction runs until 12 December with a reserve of $800. At that price postage and handling is also thrown in.
