Australian Brews News will present a live conversation with ACCC deputy chairman Dr Michael Schaper as part of a bumper lineup of seminars at the upcoming Australian Craft Brewers Conference 2016.

Topics covered in the session with Dr Schaper will include labelling, tap contracts and other issues of interest to the Australian craft brewing industry, with a Q&A session to follow.

Tech entrepreneur Steve Baxter, who recently invested in a beer delivery start-up, will present a keynote address on “disruption, growth and acceleration”.

International guests include US Brewers Association quality ambassador Dick Cantwell, Weyermann Specialty Malts brewmaster Denise Jones and Andrew Tysler, vice president of sales at Oregon’s Deschutes Brewery.
