4 Pines Underground restaurant opens
4 Pines Brewing Company this week launched 4 Pines Underground in Manly, the third venue in itsgrowing hospitality portfolio.
Located underneath itsoriginal venue, 4 Pines BrewPub, Underground is an all-day eatery serving breakfast through to shared snacks and mains.
Brewery co-founder Sheree Mitchell’s design influence for 4 Pines Underground was a log cabin, the end result a warm and cosy space with a focus on natural materials.
Rustic, recycled timbers salvaged from an old Victorian cottage have been paired with black steel and bunker lighting and a pictorial history of Manly’s wharf is depicted upon the walls.
Pallets from the 4 Pines production and brewing hub in Brookvale have been used extensively throughout this warm and cosy space, and many elements of the venue have been constructed personally by Mitchell.
Group executive Chef Rob de Paulo has developed the menu and will be supported in-venue by head chef Pablo Siebeneichler. The fresh and modern dishes are complemented by a range of house-made elements including chutneys and aioli through to burger patties and the 4 Pines Stout-infused farm house bread.
Twelvebeer taps feature a range of 4 Pines’ core and Keller Door beers, alongside Australian wines and spirits, cocktails, smoothies, pressed juices, milkshakes and Single Origin coffee.
Located at 43-45 E Esplanade, Manly, 4 Pines Underground is open sevendays a week, 7am to10pm.
