Starting this World Earth Day (Thursday, April 22), 4 Pines venues across NSW and VIC will sell Take 3 Beach Clean-Up Kits for $32. Each Take 3 clean-up kit includes the supplies you need to safely clean-up at your local beach all in a Take 3 Tote bag. In addition, 4 Pines are providing three bonus pints (worth $36), to share with mates, to every bag.

Using business and beer as a force for good is part of 4 Pines’ commitment to ‘Brew Better’. As proud 1% for the Planet members, 4 Pines has provided $25,000 to help Take 3 reach their goal of removing 10 million pieces of rubbish from our oceans and waterways this year.

Chris Willcock, 4 Pines Chief Brewer said: “For us, it’s about our quest to leave the world better than we inherited it. Encouraging people to take small actions like doing a clean-up with mates is a no brainer.”

More needs to be done to tackle plastic pollution. Australia alone consumes an estimated 3.5 million tonnes of plastic every year, while only 9% of all the plastic ever produced has been recycled, 12% has been burned and the remaining 79% has ended up in landfills or the environment.
