SABB wins gold
St Andrews Beach Brewery has been awarded the Gold Medal for New Tourism Business at the 2018 Victorian Tourism Awards.
The category of New Tourism Business awards businesses that opened in the 2018 financial year.
St Andrews Beach Brewery’s Co-Founder & Manager Director Andrew Purchase was overjoyed with the result.
“We are absolutely blown away to have been awarded gold medal. This award is great recognition for the tremendous amount of hard work our team has put in over the past 12 months.” said Mr Purchase.
“Our goal was to create a brewery and agribusiness that was truly unique to the Mornington Peninsula, by providing both locals and visitors to the Southern Peninsula experience to remember. To be now recognised as leader in the tourism industry is incredibly exciting.”
The Victorian Tourism Awards highlights tourism excellence across all facets of a business; business planning, customer service, marketing and sustainability.
Business Development Manager, Tim Purchase said “the submission process was incredibly valuable as it forces you to take a step back and examine your business from a holistic point of view”.
“We entered the awards to benchmark ourselves against amazing Victorian businesses. We pride ourselves on our customer service and sustainability practices, so to have won the gold medal is very rewarding”.
“We would like to thank everyone who has visited the brewery this first year, the way in which our venue & beer has resonated in a positive way has been overwhelming”.
St Andrews Beach Brewery would also like to sincerely thank Nelly Shaw and her team for their help in writing the awards submission.
