Quiet Deeds Pale Ale

Well, this is unusual. I mentioned in an update to an earlier post about Quiet Deeds Pale Ale that I had had an interesting chat with one of the guys behind it, Patrick Alé. I updated the post noting that conversation and acknowledging that, despite my musings on brands and contract brewing, that the guys behind the beer didn’t seem to be trying to present their beer as anything other than it was. What I didn’t expect was to receive another release about the beer and the brand with the good bits about the brand from the first one in and the stuff that seemed – to me at least – a little confusing taken out. There’s nothing really to add to this version of the release and it contains all you you need to know about the Quiet Deeds Pale Ale brand, short of trying it. I’m not even going to contrast it with another company’s behaviour (oops, guess I just did). Instead, I have taken the unusual step of renaming the earlier story and posting this one under the Quiet Deeds Pale Ale headline. Give it a try, see what you think. [MK]

MEDIA RELEASE

Quiet Deeds has just released its first Pale Ale!

A beer created for those who would rather toast than boast, Red Island Brewing Company is proud to release Quiet Deeds Pale Ale.

Quiet Deeds 4 packQuiet Deeds Pale Ale represents a celebration of everything refined, amber & tasteful about life. A memorable beer with true substance & character, it was created with the righteous Aussie drinker in mind.

Created by two Melbourne lads living the quintessential Aussie blokes dream of producing their own brew, Patrick Alè & David Milstein, have crafted an Australian-made boutique beer as fresh & flavoursome as they come.

Quiet Deeds is a toast to the understated achiever in us all. But just because you’re humble, doesn’t mean you can’t pat yourself on the back or better yet shout yourself a beer!

“The name itself – Quiet Deeds – resonated with us as a company and encapsulates our motto in life. We aren’t about ego, we love what we do” says co-founder Patrick Alè.

We all hear about the deeds of a loudmouth; but it’s those with substance of character who perform the Quiet Deed – the deeds often unseen & unheard. Like keeping your shirt on at a music festival, even though you’re totally ripped; or pointing to someone else when the bar tender asks ‘who’s next’.

Quiet Deeds celebrates these gestures & the silent do good-er in us all.

The taste speaks for itself. To try the brew, get down to your nearest discerning drinking hole & grab a Quiet Deeds Pale Ale. Available in 4-packs & cases, you’re encouraged to shout your mates (or any fellow beer enthusiasts who happen to cross your path).

About Red Island Brewing Company

An extension to Red Island Pty Ltd , responsible for introducing Rekorderlig and other international beverages to the Australian market, Pat & Dave have fused over nine years industry knowledge and genuine passion for craft beer to open Red Island Brewing Company.

An amalgamation of their history & future, Pat says “Red Island Brewing Company is our future and where we see ourselves when we are finally able to build and establish our own brewery.”

Until then, Quiet Deeds is currently brewed in NSW by reputable contract brewer Brewpack.

“Having our own beer and brewery was our main driver for starting our company Red Island 9 years ago. Being young guys with big dreams but having no money put these plans on hold and hence we started importing. We are working closely with Brewpack to ensure that we are getting the best possible beer out to market and we are extremely pleased with the results,” says co-founder Patrick Alè.
